What makes this invoice export-proper
- The LUT declaration: when you give an LUT ARN, the invoice carries the Rule 46 endorsement — "Supply meant for export of services under Letter of Undertaking without payment of integrated tax" — which is what makes a zero-rated export invoice valid.
- Place of supply: stated as the client's country (s.13(2) IGST — recipient's location) — an export-invoice essential.
- Foreign currency: invoice in the client's currency; realisation proof comes later from your bank's FIRC, not the invoice.
- Privacy: the invoice is built entirely in your browser and printed locally. We store your seller details only in this browser (you can clear them anytime).
Notes
- Unregistered (below ₹20L, no GSTIN)? Leave GSTIN and LUT blank — you'll get a clean commercial invoice without GST fields.
- Find your SAC on the CBIC portal or ask your CA — common freelance services sit in the 9983xx family. Our SAC lookup tool is coming.
- Number invoices serially per financial year and don't reuse numbers.
